| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, depicted from behind, showing the rear of the cuirass with paludamentum draped over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian mint work of the mid-third century. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his full titulature, distributed around the periphery of the field. |
