| Obverse description | Veiled and draped bust of Boule facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Phrygian civic coinage of the early 3rd century AD. The veil falls in characteristic ridged folds over the head and shoulders, with drapery visible at the truncation. The legend ΒΟΥΛΗ appears in the field, identifying the personification of the civic council. The portrait is executed with moderate relief against a plain field. |

| Reverse description | A bound sheaf or bundle of grain ears occupies the central field, depicted upright with multiple stalks tied together at the base and ears fanning outward at the top, evoking the agricultural prosperity of the Apamean region. The reverse legend, reading in Greek, encircles the type and identifies the issuing civic magistrate and community. A dotted border frames the design. The type is a well-attested civic reverse for Apamea under the reign of Elagabalus. |
