Beschrijving voorzijde Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, presented three-quarter from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy displays the characteristic youthful features associated with this emperor. The encircling Latin legend reads ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The die work reflects the provincial workshop style of Alexandria Troas, with slightly irregular flan edges typical of Eastern Roman provincial bronzes of the early third century AD.

Beschrijving keerzijde A mounted figure, identified tentatively as Alexander the Great, advances to the left on horseback while wearing a chlamys and raising his right arm in a saluting gesture. Before the horse stands the cult statue of Apollo Smintheus, depicted erect and facing right, consistent with the iconographic tradition of this deity venerated at Alexandria Troas. The reverse legend COL ALE TRO AVG is distributed around the field, affirming the colonial status of the mint city. The composition reflects the civic pride of Alexandria Troas in its association with the Alexandrian and Apolline religious heritage of the region.
