Reverse description A serpent coiled upon the back of a horse galloping to the right, the animal depicted in a dynamic, striding pose with legs extended. This unusual reverse type is associated with Alexandrian religious iconography, possibly referencing the Agathos Daimon serpent cult of Alexandria. The date legend appears in the field, rendered in Greek numerals. The flan is irregular, consistent with provincial Alexandrian bronze production of the period.
