Obverse description Laureate head of the emperor Domitian facing right, depicted with characteristic portrait features of the Flavian dynasty. The bust is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Conventus of Ephesus. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy, reading ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΟϹ ΓΕΡΜΑΝΙΚΟϹ, distributed around the periphery of the flan.
