| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, the imperial effigy rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage. The laureate wreath is visible atop the head, with drapery suggested at the truncation of the neck. A Greek imperial legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially legible on this worn specimen. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show significant wear and patination consistent with extended circulation. |

| Reverse description | Nike, the goddess of Victory, advancing left, her figure rendered in motion with drapery flowing behind her. She holds a wreath in her extended right hand and a palm-branch in her left, canonical attributes of the Victory type widely employed on Bithynian provincial bronzes. The reverse legend, partially preserved, appears at the periphery. The flan is heavily worn and corroded, with much of the surface detail obscured, though the figure of Nike remains identifiable. |
