Obverse description Draped bust of Artemis Boreitene facing left, quiver visible at shoulder. To the left of the bust, a bow terminating in a stag's head serves as a distinctive iconographic attribute of the deity. The legend ΒΟΡΕΙΤΗΝΗ appears in the field, identifying the local epithet of the goddess. The style is characteristic of provincial Lydian bronze coinage of the Antonine period.
