Reverse description Athena, helmeted and draped, stands facing right in a static, hieratic pose, holding an upright spear in her right hand and a large round shield resting on the ground at her left side. The goddess is depicted in the standard provincial Phrygian style, with schematic rendering of the drapery and attributes. The encircling Greek legend ΕΠΙ ΤΙΜΑΙΟΥ ΑΜΟΡΙΑΝΩΝ, naming the magistrate Timaios and the civic identity of Amorium, runs around the periphery of the flan.
