Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of the emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic back-bust style typical of Alexandrian Troas coinage. The imperial effigy displays military dress with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The surrounding field carries a partial Latin legend reading ANTONINVS PIVS SE, distributed around the periphery. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show olive-brown patination consistent with a provincial bronze issue.
