Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear in a three-quarter perspective, emphasizing the military paludamentum and armor. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Troas mint issues, with the laureate wreath visible atop the head. The surrounding legend is partially preserved along the periphery of the flan. The strike is somewhat weak, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period.
