The portrait exhibits the characteristic features of the young prince prior to his adoption of the imperial beard. The surrounding field carries the Greek legend identifying the subject as Caesar Verus. The style is consistent with provincial die-cutting of the Lydian conventus under Antoninus Pius. |

She carries a palm-branch in her left hand and raises what appears to be a wreath in her right hand. The figure is set within a plain field with the civic legend of Tralles partially visible in the lower exergual area and around the periphery. The die work, though worn, displays the characteristic civic style of Lydian provincial coinage of the Antonine period. |
