| Obverse description | Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, depicted in the Antonine court style with hair elaborately coiffed and gathered at the nape. The effigy occupies the central field, rendered in moderate relief typical of Alexandrian provincial bronze coinage. The circumferential legend in Greek reads ΦΑΥϹΤΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ, identifying the empress as Augusta. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic surface roughness consistent with Egyptian provincial production. |
