Additional information

Year 11 of Antoninus Pius corresponds to 147–148 AD, a period of studied imperial calm — Antoninus almost never left Italy during his entire reign, an administrative anomaly for a Roman emperor. Alexandria's civic bronze coinage operated on the Egyptian regnal year system rather than consular dating, which is why Alexandrian issues can often be dated with unusual precision compared to provincial bronzes elsewhere.
