Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style. The emperor's portrait displays a laurel wreath with clearly articulated leaves, and the drapery is visible on the truncation at the shoulder. The circular Greek legend runs along the entire periphery of the flan, naming the emperor with his full imperial titulature. The portrait occupies the greater part of the flan, typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the Antonine period.
