Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed and draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, seen from the rear, with the paludamentum (military cloak) visible over the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style typical of early-second-century Roman Egypt. The obverse legend encircles the bust, identifying the emperor with his full imperial titulature in Greek characters.
