Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Thracian civic coinage. The emperor's effigy is depicted with a wreath of laurel leaves crowning the head, with drapery visible over the left shoulder. A Greek legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan. The die work is typical of mid-second century provincial production, with moderate relief and a slightly irregular strike.
