Obverse description Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Pontic civic coinage. The emperor's effigy is depicted with characteristic beard and laurel wreath, the portrait occupying the central field. A Greek legend encircles the bust, identifying the emperor by his imperial titles. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination consistent with bronze provincial issues of the mid-second century AD.
