The deity is rendered in the standard Lydian-Phrygian civic type for Zeus, with the surrounding Greek legend naming the local magistrate Skopelianus and the civic ethnicon of Temenothyrae. The coin was issued under the authority of the strategus Skopelianus during the reign of Antoninus Pius.
