| Obverse description | Two standing male figures facing one another in the field, identified by the surrounding Greek legend as the Caesars Titus and Domitian, sons of Vespasian. The left figure stands draped, extending his right hand toward the other; the right figure similarly draped, raises his hand in a gesture of greeting or acclamation. The abbreviated Greek legend ΤΙΤΟϹ ΚΑΙ ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝ ΚΑΙϹ runs around the periphery of the coin in Greek characters, though much of it is worn and partially legible on this irregular flan. |
