| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Valerian II (Caesar) facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The radiate crown is clearly delineated with outward-pointing rays, and the paludamentum is visible over the cuirass. The encircling Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially obscured by wear and the irregular flan edge. |

| Reverse description | A galley with three rowers advances to the right, depicted in the conventional provincial style with oars visible along the hull. The vessel's prow and stern are summarily rendered, reflecting the local engraving tradition of the Apamean mint. The colonial legend is distributed around the type in the field and exergue, attesting to the civic authority behind the issue. The overall composition is typical of Bithynian colonial bronze coinage struck under the joint reign of Valerian I and Gallienus. |
