Obverse description Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trebonianus Gallus facing right, depicted from a three-quarter rear perspective, the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder visible beneath the cuirass. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Alexandria Troas, with the laureate wreath clearly delineated. The Latin legend runs around the periphery of the flan.

Reverse description Hercules standing facing right, his weight shifted onto one leg in a relaxed contrapposto stance, with one arm resting on his hip and the other leaning upon his club, which is draped with the Nemean lion skin. The figure reflects the iconographic tradition of Hercules as patron deity of the Troad colony. The colonial legend is arranged in the field around the figure.
