| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, depicted with characteristic drapery at the shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the laureate wreath clearly distinguishable around the head. A Greek legend surrounds the portrait, running along the outer rim of the flan. The coin displays a brown patina with areas of green encrustation consistent with prolonged burial, and the flan is slightly irregular in form. |
