Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Pontic civic coinage. The effigy displays a laurel wreath crown and visible drapery on the left shoulder. The encircling Greek legend runs along the outer periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and slightly broad, characteristic of hammered provincial bronzes of the early 2nd century AD.
