| Obverse description | Draped bust of Julia Mamaea facing right, depicted as Augusta, with hair arranged in the characteristic Severan style. The effigy is rendered in low relief with visible drapery folds at the shoulder and chest. A Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field, reading ΙΟΥΛΙΑ ΜΑΜΑΙΑ ΑΥΓ. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show patination consistent with a provincial bronze issue. |
