Reverse description Tyche, the personification of civic fortune, depicted standing left in flowing robes, her weight resting on her left leg in a relaxed contrapposto stance. In her right hand she holds a ship's rudder, symbol of destiny and navigation, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with fruits and abundance. The figure is rendered in the conventional provincial Greek style, occupying the full height of the flan. The encircling ethnic legend ΥΠΑΙΠΗΝΩΝ identifies the issuing city of Hypaepa in Lydia.
