| Obverse description | Draped bust of Plautilla facing right, her hair elaborately arranged in ridged waves and drawn back, with typical Severan-period coiffure. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style, with the legend disposed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait displays characteristic features associated with Plautilla's coinage from Asia Minor mints, including the draped shoulder treatment visible at the bust truncation. |
