Reverse description Tyche, the personification of civic fortune, stands facing left in full figure within the open field, rendered in the draped style typical of Phrygian provincial issues. In her right hand she holds a long steering rudder resting on the ground, symbolising divine guidance of the city's fate, while her left arm cradles a overflowing cornucopia, signifying abundance. The figure is rendered in a relatively linear provincial style with folds of drapery visible along the lower body. The Greek civic legend encircles the design in the field, identifying the issuing city and the presiding magistrate.
