| Obverse description | Veiled and draped bust of Boule facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Carian civic coinage. The veil falls gracefully over the head and shoulders, conveying the personified dignity of the city council. The legend ΒΟΥΛΗ appears in the field, identifying the personification. The flan is irregular, as characteristic of locally struck provincial bronze issues of the Severan period. |
