| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus facing right, depicted from the rear, showing the detailed paludamentum and segmented cuirass. The portrait presents the emperor in full military attire, with the laurel wreath clearly rendered on the head. The surrounding Greek legend identifies the emperor by his full imperial titulature. The flan is irregular and slightly worn, consistent with provincial civic coinage of the Severan period. |
