Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Septimius Severus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic Severan three-quarter back view. The radiate crown projects prominently above the imperial effigy, conveying divine and military authority. The paludamentum is visible over the cuirass, rendered in the provincial die-cutting style typical of the Phrygian mint at Hadrianopolis. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan.
