Beschrijving voorzijde	Draped bust of Julia Domna facing right, her hair elaborately waved and dressed in the characteristic Severan style with a bun at the nape of the neck. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial idiom of Asia Minor, with folds of drapery visible at the truncation. The circumferential legend ΙΟΥΛΙΑ ΔΟΜΝΑ ϹΕΒ runs around the field, partially legible on this worn example.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A serpent coiling sinuously around and upon a rectangular altar, its head raised and turned to the left, depicted in the style common to Asclepian cult imagery on provincial bronzes of Asia Minor. The altar sits on a low base and occupies the central field. The ethnic legend ΠΙΟΝΙΤΩΝ is distributed around the periphery of the field, identifying the issuing community of Pionia.
