Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, her hair elaborately arranged and bound with a diadem, the drapery visible at the truncation. The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of the Smyrnaean mint, with the legend disposed around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits the characteristic green patination and irregular flan shape associated with mid-third-century provincial bronze coinage of Asia Minor.
