Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip II facing right, portrayed in three-quarter rear view, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder visible beneath the cuirass. The effigy displays the youthful features characteristic of Philip II as Caesar, rendered in the provincial workshop style of Magnesia ad Maeandrum. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΙΟΥ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟϹ, distributed around the field.

Reverse description Apollo standing left in the field, depicted as a youthful nude figure holding a laurel branch in his extended right hand and resting his left arm upon a tall column. The deity's relaxed contrapposto posture reflects Hellenistic artistic conventions common to the civic bronzes of Ionian mints. The ethnic legend ΜΑΓΝΗΤΩΝ is inscribed in the field to the right, identifying the issuing city of Magnesia ad Maeandrum.
