| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip II facing right, portrayed in three-quarter rear view, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder visible beneath the cuirass. The effigy displays the youthful features characteristic of Philip II as Caesar, rendered in the provincial workshop style of Magnesia ad Maeandrum.
