Reverse description A monumental triple-bayed arch is depicted in frontal view, its three arched passageways and decorative architectural detailing rendered in low relief. Atop the central arch, a figure stands frontally in an elephant-drawn biga or quadriga, flanked on either side by standing statues on pedestals, likely representing deities or imperial personages. The composition reflects the civic pride of the Pariane colony and alludes to a prominent local monument. The colonial abbreviation appears in the exergue and field.
