Obverse description Draped bust of Otacilia Severa, diademed, facing right, portrayed in the conventional Severan imperial style. The effigy occupies the central field, with the Greek legend disposed around the periphery. The portrait conveys the formal regality befitting an Augusta, with finely rendered drapery at the shoulder. The coin shows characteristic green patination consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the mid-third century.
