In her right hand she holds a ship's rudder resting on the ground, symbolising guidance and fortune, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with fruits and grain. The encircling Greek legend identifies the issuing community. The reverse type follows well-established Hellenistic and Roman provincial conventions for the depiction of city Tyche. |
