| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Maximinus I Thrax facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style, with the laureate wreath clearly distinguishable atop the head. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor by his full titulature, distributed around the periphery of the flan within a dotted border. |
