| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Commodus, lightly bearded with a short beard, facing right and seen from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The legend ΑΥ ΚΑΙ ΑΥΡ ΚΟΜΜΟΔ runs around the field. The flan is irregular and pierced, a common alteration in ancient provincial bronzes repurposed as pendants or amulets. The portrait style is consistent with the eastern Greek provincial workshops of Mysia. |
