His left foot rests upon a bucranium, a common attribute in his iconography. In his left hand he holds a long scepter, while his right hand extends a globe surmounted by a Victory bearing a trophy upon her shoulder. A rooster stands to the lower left at his feet. The encircling legend MENCIS CO ANTIOCH identifies the deity and the issuing colonial authority. |
