In his raised right hand he holds a bunch of grapes, while his left hand bears a cantharus; he leans against a column to his left. The composition reflects the syncretistic Dionysiac imagery commonly associated with Antinous in provincial coinage of Asia Minor. The magistrate's legend occupies the field around the figure. |
