| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, seen from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in typical provincial style, with the laurel wreath clearly defined atop the head. The encircling Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The strike is moderately centered on an irregular flan characteristic of provincial bronze coinage. |
