Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of the Conventus of Cyzicus, with the laureate wreath clearly indicated. The surrounding legend names the emperor with his full titulature in Greek characters. The flan is irregular and the surfaces heavily patinated, consistent with a provincial bronze issue of the mid-third century AD.
