Obverse description Radiate head of the emperor Gallienus facing right, rendered in the late Roman provincial style typical of Epirote civic coinage. The radiate crown, a hallmark of imperial solar iconography, is clearly indicated in the type. The obverse legend ΠΟΥ ΛΙΚ ΓΑΛΛΙΝΟϹ runs around the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor by his abbreviated titulature. The coin's irregular flan and worn surfaces are consistent with provincial hammered bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD.
