The ethnic legend ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ is inscribed in the right field, identifying the issuing city of Nicaea in Bithynia. The figure is rendered in the standard Hellenistic tradition typical of Bithynian provincial bronzes of the Severan period. |
