| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Commodus (here styled as Marcus Aurelius Antoninus) facing right, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Thessalian civic coinage of the Antonine period. A partially preserved legend surrounds the bust in the field, the inscription much worn and only partially legible. |
