Reverse description Tyche seated left upon rocks, rendered in the local Mesopotamian provincial style. The goddess is depicted in a relaxed pose, her figure schematically rendered, with what appears to be a rudder or sceptre held in her extended hand. A Greek colonial legend surrounds the figure, and a numeral or mark appears in the lower field or exergue. The overall fabric and style are consistent with the colonial bronze coinage of Nisibis under the Severan dynasty.
