| Beschrijving keerzijde | Tyche, the personification of Fortune and tutelary deity of Ephesus, depicted standing to the left in full figure, draped in a long chiton and himation. In her right hand she holds a ship's rudder, symbolising the city's maritime fortune, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with abundance. The reverse legend encircling the field proudly proclaims the city's distinction as holder of the neocorate title three times, a mark of exceptional imperial favour. The surface exhibits a dark olive-brown patina with rough granular encrustation consistent with prolonged burial. |
