Beschrijving voorzijde Jugate busts of Augustus, laureate, and Livia, draped, facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition typical of Ephesian civic coinage. Augustus is placed in the foreground with the laureate wreath clearly delineated, while Livia appears behind and slightly smaller in scale. The busts are presented in close proximity, emphasizing the dynastic pairing of emperor and empress. The portrait style reflects the refined Augustan artistic idiom adapted for provincial bronze coinage. No obverse legend appears on this type.

Beschrijving keerzijde Forepart of a recumbent stag facing right, its body lowered and legs folded beneath it, rendered in a naturalistic style emblematic of Ephesian civic imagery, the stag being the sacred animal of Artemis, patron deity of Ephesus. To the left of the stag stands a tall torch, a further cult symbol associated with Artemis and the religious life of the city. The reverse legend, divided across the field, names the city abbreviation and the two local magistrates responsible for the issue. The composition is balanced and typical of the Ephesian provincial bronze series of the Augustan period.
