| Obverse description | Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, rendered in low relief in the provincial Alexandrian style. The empress is depicted with her characteristic elaborate coiffure, with hair dressed in waves and drawn back, consistent with her portraiture during the reign of Antoninus Pius. The legend ΦΑΥϹΤΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ runs around the periphery, partially visible on this irregular flan. The portrait displays the soft, idealized features typical of mid-second century Alexandrian bronze coinage. |

| Reverse description | The Agathodaemon serpent depicted erect and rearing to the right, crowned with the double Egyptian skhent crown, its coils enfolding a caduceus and a club surmounted by a hawk. This syncretic deity, blending Greek and Egyptian religious iconography, was the tutelary spirit of Alexandria and a recurring type on Alexandrian bronze coinage. The regnal year numeral L [Κ (year 20) appears in the field, corresponding to the twentieth year of Antoninus Pius. The composition reflects the deeply rooted local religious traditions perpetuated on provincial imperial coinage. |
